Nos dias 11 e 12 de junho, a Polónia junta-se às seleções que vão competir no IKF Beach Korfball World Cup Europe 2026, trazendo a sua própria energia à Costa de Caparica. Na areia, a equipa polaca fará parte de uma competição onde cada posse pede leitura de jogo, paciência e capacidade de reagir rapidamente quando o jogo se abre.

Poland is a country with a strong sense of history, identity and resilience. From the Baltic Sea to its mountain regions, from historic cities to wide natural landscapes, it carries a character shaped by movement, community and determination.
There is a quieter side to Poland that is just as striking: the country is home to part of the Białowieża Forest, one of the last remaining areas of ancient woodland in Europe and a powerful symbol of nature that has endured through time.
On 11 and 12 June, Poland joins the national teams competing at the IKF Beach Korfball World Cup Europe 2026, bringing its own energy to Costa de Caparica. On the sand, the Polish team will be part of a competition where every possession asks for awareness, patience and the ability to respond quickly when the game opens up.

It is also a country with a long relationship with water, movement and open space. Much of the Netherlands sits below sea level, shaped by dikes, canals and an everyday ability to adapt to the landscape around it.
This June, the Dutch team brings that heritage to the Portuguese coast for the IKF Beach Korfball World Cup Europe 2026. On the sand of Costa de Caparica, it will be a chance to see one of korfball’s reference nations compete in a faster, beach-based version of the game it helped give to the world.
