No corfebol, o fair play não é apenas uma ideia bonita. Faz parte da forma como o jogo é vivido.
Por ser um desporto misto, o corfebol assenta no equilíbrio, na cooperação e no respeito. Cada atleta tem um papel, cada decisão influencia a equipa e o jogo só funciona verdadeiramente quando atletas, treinadores e árbitros partilham o mesmo sentido de justiça.
É por isso que o IKF Beach Korfball World Cup Europe 2026 contará com a iniciativa “Cartão Branco sem Fronteiras”, introduzindo o Cartão Branco como forma de reconhecer comportamentos exemplares de fair play durante a competição.
Ao longo do evento, os árbitros poderão mostrar o Cartão Branco para distinguir atitudes positivas de atletas, equipas técnicas ou outros intervenientes, valorizando momentos de respeito, solidariedade, ética e compromisso com o espírito do jogo.
Na areia, vencer é importante. Mas a forma como se joga também conta.
In korfball, fair play is not just a nice idea. It is part of the way the game is played.
As a mixed sport, korfball is built on balance, cooperation and respect. Every player has a role, every decision affects the team, and the game only works properly when athletes, coaches and officials share the same sense of fairness.
That is why the IKF Beach Korfball World Cup Europe 2026 will include the “Cartão Branco sem Fronteiras” initiative, introducing the White Card as a way to recognise exemplary fair play during the competition.
Throughout the event, referees will be able to show the White Card to highlight positive behaviour from athletes, coaching staff or other participants, valuing moments of respect, solidarity, ethical attitude and commitment to the spirit of the game.
On the sand, winning matters. But how the game is played matters too.
